Hello everyone! I’m currently getting ready to cook a delicious lunch, and today’s star is the Moroccan Fish Tagine. I am a huge fan of home-cooked meals; I rarely ever order takeout. For me, there is something so special about food that is healthy, homemade, and made with love.
In my culture, we use a lot of fresh vegetables and a mix of bold, aromatic spices. This is what gives our dishes such a unique and distinct flavor. As a mother and homemaker, I really avoid fast food. I care about every little detail when it comes to the health of my small family.
Even though standing in the kitchen for hours can be tiring sometimes, it is always worth it. I’ve grown used to it and now I cook every meal with so much joy. Moroccan cuisine is just so vibrant, full of beautiful colors and incredible flavors. When I cook, I make sure everything is just right.
Now, let’s be real for a moment—I absolutely love fresh fish, especially in a traditional Tagine, but I hate cleaning it! It always leaves me smelling like a fish market. However, the result is always worth the struggle. Today’s meal is a delicious mix of fish and peas, a classic Moroccan combo with that amazing zesty kick from preserved lemons. It’s perfection!
